Title: Sony Sues Lik Sang
Post by: bluedeath on August 09, 2005, 01:25:00 AM
QUOTE
The allegations by SCEE state that Lik-Sang breached Sony's trademark rights by selling the PSP to consumers in the United Kingdom. SCEE is seeking a court order that would prevent Lik-Sang from selling PSP hardware, games and accessories to anyone in the U.K. and the European Economic Area (EEA).

Sony could've spent a better effort against mod chip makers and modded ps2 suppliers.  That was kind of dumb.

Are they suing the guys on eBay too?
Man, Sony is a bunch of douches.

PS
Mod chips are not illegal, just the bioses.

so what is the point of them suing?  are they not going to release the psp over there? and if they are then there's no point to suing except to show them that they can.
If sony didn't want this to happen then why not release the psp all at once with a worldwide release date?
