As for the whole Michael Moore debate, yeah he's a sensationalist, yeah he's all about emotional punctuation but at least this is obvious to people with a brain and it makes his point NO LESS VALID. I think the big resentment towards him is that he exposes Americans for what they really are........a bunch of fucking idiots.......with guns.

I like Moore because he provides a counter argument. I think the right wing is scared of him because he upsets the cushy little world they have built.
Orkman I am not a fool I take what I see on both sides with a pinch of salt. I know Moores sensationalises issues but he gets his message accross. In England Moore is held up as a beacon of light in America. Not because anybody belives every word he says, but because we dont hear of anybody else with a liberal attitude.
I dont know much about the American media so can you tell me if there is a tv presenter or someone who speaks out on right wing issues and is praised?

I think in the end people are capable of making their assessments about the way things really are. We're all capable of critical thinking.
I suppose the only thing that REALLY bothers me is the fact that so many figures, including the media, whose sole purpose is to provide objective information, dub this propoganda as "fact", "information", "documentaries", etc. Re-read the definition of a documentary above... and you'll see what I mean.
The local news stations in LA refer to Fahrenheit 911 as a documentary. Seriously now guys... regardless of your political agenda, you've gotta laugh at that one.
