Title: How To Replace A Xbox Hd Without Any Backups
Post by: Action_Hank on August 27, 2006, 10:50:00 PM
My xbox has been getting those infamous error 07 codes.  Which that and my xbox Hdd is not reckonized on my PC bios leads me to believe that my HD is dead.  I need to swap it out with my spare 30 gig I have.

The problem with all of this is that, I have no backups at all for my xbox, my original xbox is now a C drive on my computer that I am using now to type this post to.  I am not real experienced in this but, every tutorial or post I have seen on HD replaceing seem to require your Xbox being able to boot, ( which mine can't do cause of the error 07) or having a backup disk or HD of some sorts.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?
