Take "When I'm Gone," for example. Give it a listen.
Or how about "Who Knew?"
Or "Halie's Song"/"Mockingbird?"
Sure, he may not have had it the 'hardest,' but what does that matter? He has some awesome songs that were never on CDs in the US and so many were never on the radio.

personally i dont like rap at all, i think it sucks butt, but thats not what i'm here to say. I agree with those who say that a lot of modern music is crap. Like all bands are gettin sucky in my oppinion. Even the beloved Staind's last album was pretty pussy compared to their others. And yeah I also agree that I'm tired of songs sayin the same thing over and over, of course i dont like punk/emo any of that kinda stuff either (it sucks butt as well.) The best album that has been released recently i think is The Truth by Bleeding Through.
