- especially in the US where they really can't take being rejected.I think Kurt "The Hobbit" Nilsen won the World Idol spin-off thing was because, apart from probably havng the best voice, he was the only one to sing a pop song (apart from the german and polish girl, but whether what they did could be described as "singing" is argueable) - strange though, as Norwegians are rarely known for their singing prowess (my knowledge of Norwegian singers is: Lene Marlin, err....
