Looks to me like the screen got whacked pretty good. Is that a crease or crack along the bottom?

if your talking about the white line along the black area then its nether it only shows up when its on, i wish i could just get rid of the diffrent color lines on the screen then mybe i could use it as a back up when a friend comes over or some thing.

From what I've been reading, horizontal lines in the display can be a symptom of a bad tconn/lcd controller board. Maybe it could cause the verts as well. I just ordered one for mine from ebay for $76.
I'm not saying that's it for sure but you could search for similar problems with that model#, open it up and get the part # from the board and see what's available.

The LCD panel itself is knackered.

Similar thing happened to my LCD that fell off the wall. lol. From my understanding, it's the LCD itself that's "cracked." I'm not too sure how to explain it, but I'm pretty sure there's no way to fix it.. unless you replace the whole LCD panel. But with doing that.. you may as well buy a whole new TV. lol
from the out side the tv looks fine theres no cracks dents nothing you only see it when you turn it on.
mybe i should open it up? is there any danger in opeing a lcd tv?

As always, treat the P/S with respect.

The panel itself is defo gone/knackered/broken. Pointless opening it up.
Not sure how many people need to tell you before you believe it.

ill right i guess i will try to sell it on ebay, any idea on what to price a thing like this?

You most likely wouldn't get much. The only thing you can do is strip it down and sell the board individually, but you still wouldn't get much.
