Hi,

i just f**'*ed up my softmod twice. doesn't matter, i do this just to learn. got the original ms dash back on the box and ready to do it again ...

...wait no!

EVERYTIME i have to do anything outside of windows, i have to hook up my computer to my tv because that shitty acer al1916w tft comes up with an "input not supported" screen while the pc is booting up. this sucks big time. whenever i have to change summin in the bios, reinstall my windows or, like i just said, do a softmod with the linux disc, i have to use my tv.

is there any workaround for this? any setting i havent found yet?

I have an AL1916W myself for quite a while and it always showed me that resolution correctly... Maybe you have a graphics card problem or maybe a defective lcd...
