as much as i love the current theme, i think its time to re-vamp the layout of xbox-scene.
i tried to contact someone about this, but i couldnt get a hold of anyone
anyways, just thought i would post it up here and see what people think (and to see if anyone even wants the theme to change)
comments and critiques always appreciated.
still very much a WIP
-
that is very awesome
the main site theme is kinda getting dull
this would make a great new face to x-s IMO
-
I'd almost rather it stay the same.
It's been like this forever and is getting old... but still...
I'm afraid that the same thing that happened to **Mod edit: Don't post URLs of blacklisted sites** will happen to X-S if a new theme is set up...
They throw on a horrible theme that looks like every other website in existence and stick with it and don't allow you to use the old/better theme...
But your wip looks pretty sweet.
I think the greatest thing ever would be to have ChokeManiac, the designer of the Project Mayhem Skins, design a new site theme for both the news site and the forum.
just my 2 cents

To Black, need some white/lighter colours in there, remember this site is viewed loads of times, so fast loading gfx is a must.
Maybe now it's Scenyx Entertainment perhaps created a theme running accross both sites with Xbox 1, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii ??
Just an idea...

Cool, but I don't like the news text/color scheme
-
I personally like the theme.. but it is a bit dark.
how cool would it be if Chokemaniac made us a theme for the news or the forums?
-
Is that a big hint to say that he is working on one?
I can see it now "Project Mayhem 3 - X-S edition"
-
Hint? no. wish.. yes.
If any of the skilled people behind the best skins of XBMC are truly interested in overhauling the looks of the forums, or the news pages we have please contact Xantium.
I don't know how welcome this is, and we are "slowly" moving towards some new designs. However, I don't think we'd turn down a clean, simple and awesome design if one came our way.
