well i finally got photoshop and started messin around with it and this is what i got remember be nice this is my first attempt at anything like this.

FOX SIG


my friend leigh's sig...she just thought they wer cool so she wanted one


motocross sig

it may be the easiest, but it gives the graphic a touch of noobism.

there not shitty. but when u get so complicated with the plugin the graphic starts to look like u just threw it together without any kind of learning curve.

just don't give up.
also look at www.good-tutorials.com for ur tuts. its a huge community with a shit load of tuts.

The best advice i can give you is  to learn your way around ps first.  Figure out what everything does, then learn the most effecient way of doing things.  I make all of my stuff in interface stye.  Interface is a futeristic, metallic style.  In my oppinion one of the hardest styles, because you basically hafta DRAW your stuff.

Also try to stay away from "abstract" and "grundge," two VERY overused styles.  Try to be unique.  For example, LostBoyz's pieces all have a sureallistic effect to them.  It's what makes him...well him.  

Now, about filters. filters are there for a purpose, most filters are geared towards photomanip and should not be used as a background, or in a signature, unless its a photomanip.  There ARE some exceptions tho.  For example:  Blur: one of my most widely used filters, i love it, especially "gassain blur."

I can help you get started, although im not around here much anymore, I still can help you on AIM or over MSN. I prefer AIM tho.

b15ginz= thanks for that site and ya they are pretty shitty now that i know a lil more about what im doing

llwahooll= ya i started screwing around with stuff and getting some help from aerohbe and im gettin better. I honestly dont think that i'll be using filters at all anymore... just cause i know how to make a background now so that wont be a problem. I added you to msn too m8 thanks a lot

metaldevil= ya im not going to be using filters at all anymore....maybe sometimes but definatly not a lot. Ya i have no art skills (as in drawing) but a lot with computers so i think they balance each other out

They're not shitty, they just suffer from an overdose of filters.  So now you have some experience playing with them and it's time to try something else out.

k i brightened it a little...i dont want to do it anymore than that though because the whole meaning of the sig is... "everything around me is nothing"... like i dont see anything except the track everything else is nothing. and my font is on size 6 pt :S cant go any smaller so i just moved around motocross is a way of life and no other fonts fitted so I kept that font.

That's pretty cool.

As for the uploads, it's still being tweaked but perhaps your file is too big?  Or file name too long?  I think I recall Syrus mentioning that.

lol ya i made the font shadow less but its not worth re-posting. Xombe that was exactly the problem
well here is what i did ...i still ahve the original though.

P.S i deleted the PSD on the donnie darko one so i unno if ytou can see it but theres a bunch of random letters in the background that i woulda made more clear.
