Can this be extended to comic book characters aswell? The character I am thinking of has been featured in a few games but is mainly known as a comic book super hero.

I assume Rule 4 means no components of a game screenshot either, right? So, we can't extract/layer mask the character of the game out and put him/her/it somewhere, right? I'm almost positive that is what this means, I simply want to double check.

I'll see what I can do. It'll be hard for me to come up with something, but I'll try to think about it.

Fine with me, now on the other hand, some people might have 800x600 (who uses that crap? ) So, personally, I'd link to the image in your post instead of putting the image there. Or resize it, but that would ruin the quality.
Final decision from me, place a thumbnail there or something.
P.S This is what a section of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
P.P.S. Did you get my invite T*G*Z

Sorry, no entry from me. I was too busy today losing money for my class at a spaghetti dinner that no one attended. I'm sick of my Class voting for fundraisers, having the same loyal people work their asses off at them, and then have no one show up/sell anything.

PMC = Photomanipulation Challenge
These are contests where we use Photoshop (or some other quality image editor) to alter pictures a certain way. They follow themes in the same way the SOTW contests do, but they're more for showing off what you can do in Photoshop on a real picture instead of a sig. They're not restricted contests. Anyone can enter. They also help in building up your PS skills because you get more practice with things you don't necessarily use in sigs.
For instance, in one of our earlier contests, the theme was invisibility. We had to remove people from a picture, but we were to leave their clothes floating where they were. In our last contest, the theme was to make some sort of transportation. Some entries were hover cars, a super boat and a jetpack.
In this contest, the theme was to make videogame characters come to life. It was to use pictures of things in the real world and combine them to make real life videogame characters or scenes as you think they'd look in the real world.
For the next one, I'm thinking about keeping the theme similar but instead of videogames, the focus will be on superheroes from comic books. That way you could make superheroes that you think would look cool in real life.
