I browse the xbox forums frequently. I am not much of a poster, but when I seen this it challanged me. With my love for history and love for photoshopping I just had to compete. Speed Racer gmv.
His sig could be greatly improve, but I when I compare it to the others, it just stands out. He/She did an excellent job with the depth of the picture. The colors seem to stand out alot better than most the other signatures. Although, the text could use some additional help, but it seems to fit and look nice with the style he executed. Btw, a small 1px black border should be added.
Metal, you also created a very unique design. I love the way you made the blood drip into the text. The only thing I think it lacks is depth and the text on the right side could use something more.

I just painted a few streams of blood making it appear as if the blood's oozing my name. The text is just a certain font I used. There's no special trick to it.
