You're gonna drop $600+ just to make sigs? Slow down there, man. Do yourself a favor: register with Adobe.com and download their free trial first. If I'm not mistaken, when your time expires, you can contact Adobe and ask them if they wouldn't mind allowing you another month to test the software. They have good customer support. They also have some great tutorials on their site and on members' sites.

If you decide you'd rather dive head first and buy it, instead of checking out the free trial, you may want to see if you can get a discounted copy through a college. If you don't currently attend college, you might know someone who'd be willing to buy it for you. My school sells the complete Creative Suite (CS and CS2) for $400. This includes Illustrator, VersionCue, GoLive, Bridge (CS2 only) and InDesign. I don't count ImageReady because it's always packaged with every copy of Photoshop. That definitely beats paying $600 just for Photoshop. smile.gif

Yep, photoshop 8 was still top of the line at one time. Will work fine. Check out good-tutorials.com to get started.

That's true. I think moderators generally turn a blind eye if it's a little too wide. If a sig is too tall, however, moderators take notice immediately.
