Title: Samsung Drive

Hey, I am just wondering if anyone else that has a 1.3 can tell me what version of DVD drive they have, I have a Samsung but I look at Uber's post on the 1.3 and he has a Phillips drive in his. So I am wondering if I actually 100% have a 1.3, the reason that I am think that I do is because I get the frag with all curent Bios's that I have tried, I have the X2pro and I have tried pretty much everything and still get the Frag...this is why I believe I have a 1.3, can anyone shed some light on my situation for me please.

You can tell for sure by the manufactering date.  If its after March 27 or 28 its a 1.3 if not you have a 1.2.

If you have a samsung drive I would think you have a 1.2, check all your lpc points and make sure they are all soldered correctly.

Yeah I have checked all of the LPC points and it still will not boot with any Bios, that is why I am sure it is a 1.3, I am going to check the Serial when I get home and see what it looks like. Oh and I think that it was made on March 19, 03.

I have a 1.1 not a 1.2 with a samsung

Check if the kernal is version 5+
