You are not silly as people who use the word mobo are stupid because they know what mobo means and they do not think that some people that may read their post know what mobo means,same as some people may use the letters mb for motherborad or hd which is short for hard drive

mobo is just easier to type then motherboard.... it isn't so that n00bs won't know what we're saying
