Title: 1.0 Vs 1.1? The Differences?

like topic says. im thinking about keeping this 1.0 mobo but dont want the gpu fan on it.. have a couple of later versions gpu heatsinks laying around. i was wondering if i just could replace the 1.0 gpu heatsink that has the fan with the fanless newer one? will it work properly and not overheat?

Go ahead and replace it.  The GPU's are the same, so it will be fine.
