WHEE!!

Just finished the engine swap today.  

Car is in pieces, and filthy, but RUNNING!

This video is open header.  The new cams make it sound sweet!

Sounds like crap when you rev it, but it's loud enough to hurt your ears.  I took it for a drive and terrified some children biggrin.gif

Exhaust gets put on Monday.

Is that the ported head w/ cams you were talking bout before?

The only engines that will bolt in are other Saturn engines.

I had the SOHC engine, and I built a high-compression DOHC, with a ported/polished head and street cams and dropped it in.

The nitrous bottle is in the trunk.   (in a box...not hooked up)  hahaha.

I also got a '93 SL2...130k miles...burns a bit of oil.  Automatic sad.gif

Friend of mine got a new turbo manifold and gave me his old one....I'm either going to re-ring it and fix the oil problem and sell it for $1200, or boost it till it blows....hahaha.

Nice, I have the 1.9L DOHC in my SL2 but it doesn't sound anything like that.  Gutless POS that it is.  To make matters worse I think the tranny is starting to slip. sad.gif
