Title: What Kind Of Lift Kit?

I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherrokee, lerado. I want to get a Lift and some bigger Tires on it! What is the best Lift Kit to get? And if you can supley the price to!

Also, you will need improved brakes.  Greater height + bigger wheels = more rolling mass, thus increasing stopping distance.  Bigger discs & rotors (or drums and shoes as the case may dictate) and better calipers if you can afford it.

If your on the cheap you can do it with a set of springs and some blocks for the leaf springs in back. If  want to do it properly get a set of shackles and hangars for the back and a set of spindles in the front. New shocks would be VERY good to get but you can probably make do with the ones you have. And definetlly upgrade the brakes if your going with biggers tires.

hwo big of tire do u want and i will tell ya what lift to get rubicon express is really good rustys is pretty good   and what u wanna do with it  smile.gif

Cherokees are a bit tougher to go cheap cause of the unibody... on my Xterra, I was ale to just stick a few blocks under it and get 2'' of lift to keep my 32s from rubbing.
Since the cherokee is sprung over all around, you'll have to get larger springs, which means you'll need larger shocks to reach. If you're going for something like 32-33s I wouldn't worry too much about new brakes, gearing, etc.
