Yeah the stock seats looked better IMO, unless you change the other front and back seats.

looks fine, i'm sure it's a bit lighter and more lateral support than the stockers(although my 94 camaro has decent stock support)

corbeau has nice seats, but i know plenty of people who swap them out for sparco's. but if the price is right, rock what you got

and f-body tan interiors suck IMO, change them all! (i've got the red/grey , it;s hot)

The tan leather in these cars are fairly expensive and you can only find them used. Couple that with the fact that they offer NO back support, seem relatively porly built, and don't hold you in the seat at all when cornering and it simply wasn't the root to go. I do think the stock leather LOOKED better. But they really are pretty poor seats. I think Im gonna stay with this for the moment and if I can find a little cash You canb get Sparco Milanos in tan leather that matches mine pretty closely. Granted, theyre pretty expensive.

Also worth noting. The new GF is capable of reaching the pedals with this seat. She couldnt do that in a stock seat. And since she likes driving the car, thats cool.

how does that seat feal any ways?
i know i have to lean my seat back pretty far in my 95 formula to get comfortable.
i have charcoal grey leather seats, and i think there pretty damn comfortable.
but replacement stock seats are around 600 for power track tan leather.
have you checked out the junk yard?
you can usually walk out with a decent seat for around a bill.

o yea, if you wanna brighten up that carpet a Little, spray some Windex on a light colored wash cloth and wipe the carpet really fast with out pressing to hard. don't get the rag or wash cloth to soaked with the Windex because you only want to try and clean the top layer of carpet. to get any deeper you'll need to shampoo. but if you just clean the top layer with Windex the carpet will look like new.  wink.gif

Seat makes me have proper posture. I drove for 6 hours in it the other day. It's pretty rough on my legs as my right one gets tired..... BUT, because I have proper back support my back didnt hurt after a long drive at all, and thats VERY uncommon for me. And that crap lingers for a few days. And the thing holds me tight when cornering. Add to that the I checked every junkyard in 100 miles of my place that I could find and no one had a tan leather power seat that wasnt total junk and i thought i made an ok decision.

As for the carpet. My mom has a carpet shampooer and Ill be heading home to be near the Maine forest rally in 2 weeks, so Im gonna do it up then.  wink.gif  And grab some pics and videos of the events to post.

Cant wait to see the vids.

Anyway yeah i doubt youll find good repacment seats in the junkyard, unless you really luck out. I dont really think your new seat is bad looking, it just looks out of place.

Why did you put only one seat in. So when's the 5 point harness going in? If you would replace the back seats with a black leather, that would look nice. Idk if camaro's had black leather as an optino, but its something to htink about.

Not the closest match to the original i have ever seen but i have sat in some of those beofer if not identical they were close.. they are real nice and they hold you in that seat when your pullin a few g's a round the corner.  Nice selection man.

-One concern.....

You let your Chick drive that?  You're nuts. You should see a doctor.  Well unless she lets you take her fora drive when she gets done driving. I suppose that is an acceptable situation.

Sure it doesnt look the greatest in your car but if it feels good thats worth more than anything else in the world.

I'd like to get some recaro's for my Saturn but they're a little more than I care to spend right now or for some time.
