Title: 1.6b Power On Then Off

i have 1.6B w/Xecuter 2, 120g drive has worked now is on and off.
sometime out of no where turn on goes back off when chip on.
can turn chip off ...boots normal np.  turn chip on will boot fine sometimes
put tape at soider spot on bottom of motherboard no help same in and out
result. so posting if any one was seen....

sounds like sodering problem check tutorials here modchip tuts

X2's are not compatible :rolleyes: unless it is a 2.6

Try redoing all the solder on the LPC and try to redo the bios if at all possible
