Title: Bought A Used Duke Control In My Area, Help (prob)

Well i bought the cvontroller and i CAN return it, but ill never find another one (ive bene waiting for a while) i can buy stuff online is the problem, so i finally got it, but the left trigger is broken (the connection from the trigger to the control mechanism inside is broken) i can take this back, but is there anyway to fix it?

get another M$ controller, either S or Duke. Desolder the trigger mechanisms, and solder the good trigger into the Duke.

The S controller trigger is smaller, so it wont work, besides its just a piece of plastic that broke, but it cant reconnect, glue wont hopld it, it breaks eventually, so im kinda screwed, if i could get another duke i wouldnt even try and fix this one, i was just wondering if there is anything i could do, but i dont think there is much
