Ok, I have the newest verison of XBMC (11/30/04) with KAI installed into it.  I have the Kai Engine on my PC, and it runs.  I startup my Xbox, and I get the US Midwest orbital on my pc seeing the Xbox.  I goto the settings, Kai in my XBMC and then launch the Kai.  I see all the games and arenas and people playing.  I choose Ghost Recon 2 and then click PLAY, the game launches, yet under the system link I have no game too join.  If I do the same steps for Halo 2 I can get into the game correctly.  Seems that Halo2 is my only game that does allow me to join and play.  Anyone else getting this issue?  Any fixes or suggestions???  

Would love to be able to play some GR2 in some more hosts other than XBC since it does work.  Please any help is much appreciated all.

if you are behind a router you need to foward a port to your xbox but I have yet to find out what port.  So in the mean time just set your ip for your xbox as the DMZ host and you should be able to see the game

Make sure you are "inside" an arena and not just at the areans room.

On the right side of the arenas windo you will see a square icon.
That denotes an active arena if you see a Pad Lock icon on the line then it is locked.

If it is open you can press a to enter the arena.
Now you will see gamertags for all players.
On the right side you will now see circular icons or avatars denoting individual players.

Move focus to the player with the house next to his name.
The house denotes that player as the "Host"
Press A.
Then move focus to the play button and press a to launch the game.

When the game launches and you select systemlink you should be in the arena.

Can some one help me out i allways get a message at the begining when i open xlink kia on xbmc saying there is no connection or something but i am able 2 use the standard kia im also running a cable modem with no router or i aint got 2 nic cards whats my proble please help ?

Hey Modder, did you solve your pb?
I have the same pb here...I removed firewall, antivirus, evrything 'till my PC was naked to the net...still no luck.

I can see Arenas, games but when I hit play, it reboots xbox start game and nada...no games found...

I read on official xlink kai help that some games require an updated dashboard (xlive?) and also some games require at least 80ms to load in syslink
anybody?

Have You tried to get it going with the PC UI instead of engine and xbox?
You have more trouble shooting options when you use the PC UI.
If you can get it working with the PC UI then its just a matter of configuration for you xbox.
