Post by: Big_A on January 19, 2004, 03:01:00 PM
Ran Xlink just like I should however I cant see nor connect to any rooms and xlink dosent see my "local xbox". I see on xlink that you have to have a game brige like the WET11 however im using a game adaptor and it works fine in Xbox live.

Here is my stats:

Linksys - BEFW11S4 wireless router
Linksys - WGA11B Wireless Game Adaptor
Modded XBOX of course.

Please Help

Are you running the latest update? (see http://www.xboxlink....k/download.php)

Also, how is the PC connected to the wireless router? Wirelessly or with cables?

Problem's right there. Wireless is broken in 2.2.2

Grab the update. You'll need to setup the WET11 options in Config -> Advanced Options. Real MAC = XBox MAC address (you may need to temporarily hardwire the XBox to the router to capture this MAC address), WET11 MAC = your WGA11B Wireless Gaming Adapter.

I use the WGA11B wireless game adapter and you don't need to use WET11 nomination with it.  Your XBox MAC address is not replaced with the MAC of the WGA11B.
