Title: Power Issues After Psu Replacement Need Help!
Post by: theghostpoop on May 09, 2005, 04:06:00 AM
xbox v1.0
Power supply:  Foxlink PSU

After reading all the threads on repairing and replacing my PSU, i resoldered the joints on the psu and Xbox worked fine.  But 15 mins into a game it shuts off.  I checked the joints to see if it broke again but everything seemed fine, so i went and bought another Foxlink on Ebay and installed it.  Xbox booted up for a second; saw lights flash green and red and then shuts itself off.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  Could it be a hard drive issue?

Sounds more like a motherboard issue... classic FRAG. Is this xbox modded?

He's used 2 identical power supplies and is getting the same problem.

If the box is chipped, take off the chip and see if it still does it.
