It may be that you and your friends ping are too high... next time you are on Xlink, check to see what your ping is when you are in a room together. if its over 180ms then that is probably the reason you can not connect. A high ping is usual if you are some distance from each other. |

Where your friend lives has little relevance to the PING times. Because you live next to him doesn't mean there's a straight line from you to him. If you aren't with the same ISP, then your packets could be going 1/2 way across the country before arriving at his house.... |
