Title: A Small Suggestion For A Very Far Future
Post by: CraiZE on December 19, 2003, 06:27:00 AM
Well it's all nice for now that we need to connect to a server, but thinkin ahead in several years, xlink might go down, could it be possibly used with IP to IP routing too ? Or hosting it as "conference" with more connections, without needing to Identify to the server?

I know it's kinda weird to ask this now, but i want to be sure when the system is old, i can still use a program which's servers havent shutdown cause the console isn't active anymore.

Is this an idea?

Yeah and its exactly to have still a possible usage of linking it without server;
If you still want to play Xbox 1 or Xbox2 is not downwards-compatible, etc etc
