Title: Schematics Lg 8163b Xbox (xbox Game Fixed)

This is the complete schematics for install a LG 8163B Drive on you Xbox with full integrated controls (eject, ldin, ldout, ready) as the original dvd rom drive.

In the package you can find the utilities to flash the LG 8163B for the reading of the original XboX game.

This is a mod really working? A modded drive can read cd r-s?
A modded drive reading speed 16x?

fix the link!!! but i doubt it'd read originals, but considering i dont speak hungarian and the link doesnt work i have no idea


EDIT:: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/lg-dvd2.php it looks like its simular to this, pretty much the same drive and it doesnt read originals

i think this reads real xbox games but it doesnt read cd-rs

yea but that one didnt have the firmware thing that you install on the dvd-rom so that i thinks its a xbox dvd-rom

Tis is a mod and this firmware applying my LG8163b can read cd-r??? I'm Hungary, I don't know good english, please help me! My son's xbox i modding today....if help me for good work. I like my mod is read cd-r, and read 16x speed. Goond firmware? Help.

here is a link to the thread explaining how to mod the LG 8163B dvd rom to work in your xbox INCLUDING reading originals, but NOT cd-r

this link is to page 49 so go back and read a few pages before this to work out what to do - all the instructions are there and it's confirmed as working

the firmware is in the usual place - if you grab it make sure you get the 'fixed' one

My PC not booting, then modded lg8163 connected the ide cable. Drive is fault? How to rflashing for the original or other firmware?
