When XBL first arrived and I got my first GameTag I was using a modded Xbox with a Stock HD, a few months later I upgraded to a larger HD. In May 2004 my Subscription expired because I did not update my Card Details and did not have Internet access at the time. In June 2004 I started a new Subscription/GT with my modded Xbox and Larger HD installed and continued to use XBL without issues for about 2-3 months. After 2-3 months I stopped using XBL again and have not used it since, so have not been online since all these bannings have been taking place.
So... my question is would the marriage between my EEPROM and HD occured while using my old GT with my modded Xbox and Stock HD setup, or when I got my more recent GT with my modded Xbox and Larger HD setup?
If the marriage occured later with my new GT then I guess I should not be banned, unless they've somehow kept history of my previous set-up from when I first used XBL. If I haven't been online for a while is it possible the marriage hasn't even happened yet and will only happen when I go online again?
Thanks for your comments,
Anthony

Your large HDD should be married with your actual eeprom. So you sould be good to go back online.
