Title: New Hard Drive After Registred With Live?

Another newbie question: Can you upgrade the hard drive in the Xbox after you have registred with Live or is there a vital file stored on the drive or some other restriction that makes this impossible?

(This will of course require the installation of a modchip.)

Seems like it shouldn't be a problem today, just make sure you don't access Live with the modchip on.

If you don't have your live account stored on a memory card, you'll have to use account recovery.
