Title: Dirty Disc Wont Let Me Log On2 Xbc Anymore

Ive been playing halo on xbc for a while, I hex edited the xboxs name, that worked fine then from a couple of days later When I go to join games, it tells me I have a dirty disc, I have 2 copies of halo 1 on the hdd and 1 on disc the 1 on the hdd cant be dirty!!!

Has anyone else had this problem?, Ive restored the NICKNAME.XBN, still no joy, any suggestions would be great

Ive disabled my chip and seems 2 be working again, what is that all about?

it could be that glitch in halo

try this...before going to sys link go into split scrn and just press A til you can go no further (waiting for other players) then press B to go back and try syslink again

Well if you say its dirty then why don't you clean it. That sounds to be your problem right there. It could also be a glitch or if its scrached you can get it repaired at some cd stores or buy your own cd cleaning kit. the thing about removing the mod chip i don't know about...
