Title: Wont Give Me An Ip Address

i just got a pcmcia card for my sony slimtop vaio pc, it is a mini desktop with built in monitor and such

i have my main pc right next to it, and i play my games using my monitor on the main pc since i use an ati aiw card, so i cant chat and play at time

so i connected my xbox to my vaio using the pcmcia card, and that pc is getting internet from a pci card which is getting internet from my main pc which has 2 networks cards also, cable modem net card, and the other shares internet to vaio

when i connect my xbox, it gives it automatic private ip address, but i have it set, to obtain ip automatically

it worked when i originally started, but now it wont renew/release or give any ip
just that auto priv ip shiat

Sounds like an issue with internet connection sharing. I'd just get a router.
