As for unequal maps. Yes. Ivory tower is sad. 11 second flag captures. Lockout is played akin to damnation but either side is slighty more defendable without the pistol. <
Damnation? Are you kidding me? That was the most unbalanced ctf for Halo. Too easy if you have the top. <
While i agree that the top base was better to guard, the bottom base was not bad either, especially with the rockets so close to the base. Plus there the distance each team had to travel was perfect; none of this 12 sec crap. <

E.G. WATERWORKS!!!!!!! hello, the map is a mirror, each side is a reflection of eachother, if you don't think a mirror is even....
You need a good look in the mirror.

i think the maps arnt evenly defendable because some maps were aimed more for 1 flag offence defence. on live, when its 4 rounds, and u score 2, and their team hasnt scored and its their turn for offence, they cant win so they leave in an attempt 2 save their stats. <

Even in one flag CTF the bases are unequal. For example, in ascensions it takes 12 sec to return the flag to the blue base, but only 6 sec to return it to the red base. Go figure. <

True, but the blue team can get the rockets almost just as damn easy. Plus they have an easy escape rout, all they have to do is drop down and take the air lift, or go through the teleporter. Why the hell did they not just put the flag in back of the other base. Would have made much more sence. <
I've never had Ascension ctf come up in ranked games. :blink: <
ive had it before... its pretty cool if youre blue bc you can grab the rockets, use the airlift, fire off a rocket at the redbase in midair and wipe out their entire team (with one rocket) in less than 10 seconds if they suck... ;) <
