I read somewhere that if you dont take out update.xbe files from your HD, it will mess up your dash. is this true?  <

If you are softmodded I think it can mess it up.  I don't know for sure though.  Don't quote me.

Regardless don't upload the file.  It's not needed.  <

i took out my chip and installed the latest UDE exploit, so far so good and we've had halo 2 ever since the pal english one was released and that was fine (chipped), and then the ntsc one came out and bought that, and now playing it on hd (exploit) and its still fine, so i wouldnt worry about it.  just delete it as it does nothing with screwing up the loading of your game.  <

Many games have them and they are not needed if you have a chipped/modded xbox.  Remove them from the hdd or rip them from the game b/f making your backup.  You will save some space doing this too.  <
