| When set to widescreen it does that. 4:3 is horizontal split. |
Ok, any way to change it from widescreen to 4:3? I couldn't find those settings anywhere... <
I'm pretty sure that it is in the MS dashboard, just look around there. <
Yep, that's where it was....thanks. <
Well that's good to hear, will be waiting till 11/9 to find out because I have no clue how to get ahold of those other guys to test this. Sounds fesable tho, thank god. I was beginning to think I was going to get stuck in vertical splitscreen!
Thanks for the input! <
to be honest i dont think its a ms dash setting, i think its your tv's config... 16.9 tv's will do the horizontal, even if set the other way... <
yeah i read on a weekly update (i believe it was on an update) that you can change the vertical to horiz and vise versa they said that its easyer to do in sword battles <
it is dependent on your xbox's video settings, not your tv's....
and i read somewhere , a bungie update i believe, that the vertical split is only available in widescreen.
i just met someone last week with a similar problem, i noticed b/c his xbox boot logo was real skinny ;) he had no idea...

Right okay!
I have evox, with halo 2 on my hard drive, with a small tv 4:3 or whatever(damn university).
I cant access my ms dash just the evo x one, if i click 'ms dash' is just reloads the evox dash so i cant change my video settings.
Although i do have media centre and its apparently on 4:3 which means halo 2 should be a horizontal screen....
Anyway around this? vert screen sucks big time.
would be okay i guess if evo x had video options... that cant be hard to incorporate into it surly, well whatever.
Does anyone know how to get horizontal screen in halo 2?
Regards Sparn

Change the part in your evox.ini where is says
Item "MS Dashboard", "MS_Dashboard (or something like that)
to
Item "MS Dashboard", "c:\xboxdash.xbe
And it will go to normal M$ dash if its in your C drive. <
