Title: Virgin Corona V1 0020 Error, Any Suggestions?

yeah - on the Phats 0020 - pointed to an issue with the Gpu  ... either reflow or reball for the fix

On the Slims - the cpu and gpu chip are one.  0020 code for Slims still might point toward issues with the main chip

Or it might be diminishing power feed to the Main chip.  A capacitor starting to tire out.  Maybe

Since I am have never had such issues to fix on slims yet, I have to agree with Wilgo. It can be as much as anything that has to do with the main chip. If you can breakdown the box and give us some hi-res pics, would be helpful.

thanks for all reply. working with a working corona motherboard, i do find the power rail that goes to ram chips shorted. checked FETs and caps , they all fine. i can alomost be certain the problem is either one of of the rams shorted or pins from CPU/GPU  that connected to rams shorted, this will indicate a faulty CPU/GPU

to test it , i need to lift the CGPU first and see if the shortage is gone, or it must be one or more of the ram chips.
