Title: Boot Sequence Ok But No A/v
Post by: wilgo45 on January 27, 2013, 11:28:00 AM
Could be Gpu issue.  Reflow or reball might be needed.

Could also be a support smd for the AV port.  Like a resistor or diode.

Could be it was done unsuccessfully.

Could be one was corrected - but the other messed up in the process.

Could be chips were actually killed in the reflow process.  It can happen

Could be the full reball is now necessary.

Could be smd device has quit around the AV port

Wilgo is correct. But, sometimes (rarely) the AV out port is damaged, so check the pins if they are ok. Also I have noticed once that in extreme conditions the port legs could be oxinized, they get greenish... clean them well with contact cleaner and re-solder with new solder to be sure they make proper contact.
I hope I have helped too.

So, it will be what wilgo has said, one of those... take it to someone expert to have a look at it.
