It is ok mate, I just wanted to see how a burned diode looks on the xbox smile.gif

Wasn't burned.  Looked fine on the outside.  I wouldn't have tested it, if it wasn't for the fact that the 1.8 volt wasn't present.  So I probed nearby devices - starting with the 1.0 ohm resistor fuse.

Then checked that diode.  There was the problem.

I think it was sort of fluke.  Probably an isolated case.  But maybe it will help a few others in the future.
