I had already contacted a staff member at the university about that pin and asked him if its a problem, he said it wasnt,
so then i loosened the xclamp, i got a overheating error, then i tightened a lil bit, then now im getting a 0020 error, i checked the wiki and i cant try any of the fixes
im thinking i should probably give up already
I posted a link in my last reply. Did you miss it? You shouldn't give up yet

sorry, when i realised the 0031 error was gone i didnt even read your topic, that is strange its pretty much the same progression, as for reflowing and reballing the gpu, im not even sure what that means, having it replacing doesnt sound like its worth it.

You're still conceding defeat too early.
Myself and others who frequent this site do repair work. I do Gpu reballs and replacement. So do some others. Xboxhaxor is another who comes to mind.
I charge less than what Microsoft charges for repair work. And Microsoft also declines alot. And certain owners can't send their 360 to Microsoft
Sometimes chips have to be replaced but sometimes not.
Do this Ebay search. " Gpu X810480" ... just type that. That will give you price ideas on what chips might run
