nice.

But you know what? I really never messed up an xbox 360. I do it old fashioned with a plier and screwdriver. I have really good tool control. But that's probably because i did so many before. experience counts.

Good for newbies. Good invention

i admit i damaged a few when i started but i figured better be safe than sorry plus its much quicker

Interesting...
cringing a little at 0:45 when he's dragging the x-clamp all over the board!

and then he uses replacement studs and nuts as if the x-clamps were the problem!?

X-CLAMPS WERE NEVER THE PROBLEM!!!!

Sorry but your video does not make sense...
Don't damage x-clamps to not reuse them makes no sense.

If you're trying to showcase two different items for two different purposes, make 2 different videos.

Plus there's just no need for misinformation. X-clamps provide sufficient, balanced spring tension. It's all the pressure a good motherboard with good BGA solder ever needs. Or if these nuts and bolts are used to force BGA cracks back together as a type of fix, then say what they actually do... but in a different video.

what witchery is this!?

one of the proudest moments in my console repair adventures was removing an xclamp intact. took hours but i did it.

pliers and a bit of a tug, twist the clamp for the remainign 3.
