Title: Audio Not Working
Post by: wilgo45 on December 31, 2011, 10:09:00 PM
Just guessing if it were mine ...

I might reball the Southbridge chip, see if it had a positive effect.

If nothing changed after that, I might pull and check the various diodes and transistors around the A/V port.

GPU handles graphics processing ... but it might handle some audio.  There would have be integration of audio with the proper video display.  I don't know  - maybe a reflow or reball of the GPU could help.

Is there any pin damage inside the A/V port ?  You will need a really good light source.

And you have tried another stock Xbox 360 A/V cord set ?  New ?

Might want to check with members RDC or MadMaXGR.  They are pretty smart.  If they have the time - they will help some.
