Title: [jtag] & [rgh] Power Issues?

up untill the last video i would have said that was caused by a faulty wall socket/extention/surge protector
but that last video clearly shows the 360 shuts off before the psu.
what about the files you used to build your nand? and did you use the same dvd drive?
there has to be something common to both 360s blink.gif

i wonder if its not some kind of power issue
when the psu gets its power cut there is a lag as the led fades out
if the power was cut you probably would get what your seeing here now if there was poor conection in your plug socket it would be erratic like this as well iv'e seen this my self
a poor connection in the plug socket where wires were not connecting properly caused random boots just like what you have there.
when i say erratic i mean that it could run great for awhile but it allways did exatly what you have here then you would get random boots then it would run very strange!
when it was rewired problem solved!  smile.gif

I removed the NAND-X QSB's from my JTAG works fine now  blink.gif

I haven't touched my RGH yet cause I have no clue how to hook it up with out the QSB.

i play online games and still havent built a jtag yet though i have a taggable xenon(if i can get it booting) but thats another topic
isn't there an alternative? unsure.gif

For the JTAG you can just solder wires straight to the board or use pin headers.

The QSB's were just convenient and fast. They worked fine the first time I used them so I used them again. It just a pain to solder little wires and diodes together, plus I have large hands and I'm lazy. Hahaha.

And if you meant an alternative to the JTAG, yea the RGH can be done to virtually any Xbox right now (except an few not sure which ones besides the new slims without the HANA chip). It doesn't work the same way but it gives you pretty much the same functionality.
