Looks like they have thought about the design. We make our own(using our own connectors and systems), otherwise I would look getting a couple of these,(probably the best single-purpose SPI I have seen so far.. Will have to see how they perform)
What I would like to see (and Im surprised I haven't yet.. ppl keep coming-up with 'clone' CMOD's and new SPI) is just a basic dual-nand switching system (including one or more nand-chips obviously) that does nothing else! (optional SPI add-in might be OK, but at the end of the day, the xbox's controller itself can do it faster than almost anything else.. New cygnos is pretty quick, around the same timings) TBH I don't like 'leaving' any HW attached (like an SPI) that doesn't need to be there.. systems th at do seem to get bad-blocks etc.. quicker than those that don't
As I hear we will see early booter-beta-testing in the next few days (I hear it's all but done ;-) it will be Live-disabled.. yay! (don't even think of trying to patch or reverse it, you will be wasting ur time unless ur capable of building ur own from scratch.. )

Cool news, thanks for the heads up dan and hopefully someone comes out with a dual boot nand SPI reader/writer with RGH all in one board solution.

as long as its fast as the nand x and not as expensive it will be a great buy

with this device or all these new devices coming out will i be able to obtain for example lost dvd keys ? when original was lost ? can someone answer me this ?
