Wow 11 wires to solder for fat 360's that's more than the competition isn't it???

If this becomes the simplest, relatively cheap AIO solution, I may be in for 20 of these. Got a lot of friends that are jealous of my JTAG and want a homebrew capable console.
-
A "quicksolder" install means you won't practically be able to remove it. Do you leave a flasher in all your jtagged boxes or even one of them? I guess the flasher just allows them to up the cost.
-
Wow! every man and his dog eh?
I don't think the market will support this many clones somehow ...
Even if they up the value/price by adding a nand-flasher and 'quick-solder' ppl are still better off having it done properly without the Nandflasher as u really only need it once briefly (I guess twice technically, some ppl have shortened it even more already so u just flash what u need) Better 2 save ur money and have someone with XP flash it and tune it properly with decent soldering etc..
I guess this particular version will find a market as it appears to be one of the better offerings, but TBH after previous experience with intermittent faults arising from other 'quick-solder' big-name nand kits, we wont likely be recommending them or similar devices as we can't afford to support them.

XenoGC/Wiikey/Drivekey/Wiikey Fusion/X360key = same team

I think the way things are going you will see a nand flasher/dual nand (like cygnos v2) with built in glitching. Its best for everyone to wait out the storm of clones that are just trying to make a quick buck. Hell, there isnt even a booter/rebooter yet. I see no point in anyone throwing money away unless there trying to make there own diy glitchers and enjoy the challenge like myself.

will be intresting to se how they solved the slim with only 3 wires, VCC GND and what?

All of the solder points are there like they would be normally except the put the rest in the quick solder points. So it isnt just 3 solder points.
Personally wouldn't do the quick solder points because it could be a bad thing for some out there as they might need to remove the mod at some point. I am sure we will have a lot of topics saying "I lifted a pad under my xeno360, Help?".
-
theyll hardly lift a "pad" since the quick solder points dont go to a pad, the go to the header points on the mobo.
very hard to mess up, and even if you do you can solder to the same point on the underside of the mobo.
i think this is a brilliant product, to the guys saying its only needed once, you forget that the kernal has to be updated manually?
flashing apps like flash360 and xellous etc do not manage bad blocks correctly in all cases, and ive had many jtags that can only be updated by LPT/USB as flashing with the apps gives 0022 errors and you have to then flash manually.
this will stop me having to solder in my ethernet cable to LPT mod on each new console i do. brilliant!

What USB cable I need to program this chip?
Thanks
