I have some pretty large home video files I've encoded as Xvid and H.264/MP4 I'd like to play back on my 360 Elite. I've been limited to 4GB files because of the FAT32 limitation, as well as 32GB partitions, so I figured I'd download the evaluation of MacDrive and give HFS+ a shot.
I formatted the drive through MacDrive as HFS+ and copied several videos over to it. However, my Xbox recognizes the drive and the files on it but they all come up with "format not supported" errors and have an "X" through the icon. I put the same files on my thumb drive to double check and the same 360 plays them perfectly.
I have the latest dashboard as far as I know, and have done quite a few searches but haven't found any info.
Any idea how I can get this drive working?
