It’s been a very busy week of testing with the recently announced X360USB PRO device. Team Jungle reported to us this morning that they absolutely love the device and are 100% committed to fully supporting it. As Jungle Flasher is the most advanced, secure and feature rich 360 Firmware Tool available we are also committed to enhancing the features of the X360 USB PRO to make sure that every eventuality is covered.
There is still a very nice part of the hardware that we have not disclosed that will truly make it a true multi-function device, but what we have added this week is the ability to upgrade its firmware for future expansion and further enhancement with Jungle Flasher. Oh, did we forget to mention that amongst the new goodies the X360 USB PRO can do, it can dump the 360 Slim 9504 DVD fw and key ? ;)
Here is the latest scan of the X360 USB PRO device. In the immortal words of Michael Jackson we’re “Working Day and Night” so much more to come………
There are few case designs that we are debating. here’s the the favorite so far…..

We are please to announce the release of our new Xbox 360 cooling system – its a really radical design, nothing like this has been tried before. Check out the temperatures !!!
That GPU drop alone will help resurrect MANY Hitachi / Samsung / JTAG systems that RROD with high temps. This KILLS the temperature gains of the other fan based cooling systems on the market.
Both kits are shipping to resellers next week – more details will follow soon.

Am I right in thinking that with the USB I can use my laptop flash and update my xbox's in the future

We are all noobs compared to the real hackers that made the custom firmware (e.g. C4Eva) and all the others involved in these hacks.

So does the X360USB need external power? I'm guessing usb doesn't have the juice to power the drive so does the pack include a power adapter and will it have region specific plugs or do we need to buy converters.

and also how does it get its power to supply the DVD drive itself?

I'm not allowed to show the hardware itself but you can see it in action here

I'm sure xecuter could do a package with a ck of some sort / power source etc.

Go to Team-Xecuter forums. Xecuter is answering a lot of these questions.
Obviously you still need a CK3  or similar to power the drives tongue.gif.

Well i hope they do figure out some alternate power supply, because all you with dreams of flashing with a laptop are completely stuffed because you still need to connect the molex from a desktop pc to a CK3.

I meant xecuter could make one specifically for this purpose, as you can see from my vid, you can source the parts yourself should you need to.

all I see being useful from this is the external DVD Drive case and the cool HDD connector piece. The rest is kinda 'you might as well while your at it' stuff, I'd rather replace the GPU heatsink with a CPU one and do the fan-shroud mod. I hope its worth the $70 price tag.

xecuter is maximus copycat... I hope they suffer and die already. They don't do anything themselves just copy from maximus and act like they did it.

Why bother.. really.. it just comes across as lame.
Its like saying BP is a Shell copycat. Or VW is a Ford copycat, you are aware more than one company can occupy the same business space?

Honestly...

Both had orginal ideas, and both copy ideas off others and sometimes improve them? why is this wrong?

Yeah but how many places can you name that sell them? I don't think i've ever seen 1 except for having to canibalise a harddrive enclosure to make it. I'm sure a lot of people want this so you don't need to open pc or use laptop, and if they don't at least sell a molex adapter as an option then it's a dumb missed opportunity.

Does anybody know if the 9504 requires any soldering/spear/etc to dump the fw and key using this X360 USB PRO device?
Or if it is likely to require soldering to flash to LT+ once it is released for the 9504?

While I agree it's a potential missed opportunity the adapters are widely available online.

Maximus and Team X are going fo r 2 differnt markets.

from what I gather this team X product will be a lite version of what Mazimus Lizard will be.  This product is just (From what I see) is just a general USB to SATA adapter.

The maximus Lizard will be a more expensive item offering full control on board, with LED display, navigation buttons, onboard SATA, plus allot of bonus features will will be announcing soon.

Someone testing the Team X please correct me if I am wrong

Or that ms copied apple or apple copied ms or that ms stole there os from apple in the first place then apple did the same back no body will have a original idea ever even if they think they have someone will of thought of it before them they just get it out first

Like the cordless extension cord idea I had back in 96 that some git beat me to

I believe what maximus and xecter are doing is competing like any business if they don't do that neither company will go any father .good idea that beats the other company= $

Im sure neither company will do badly and they both make fine products and maximus probably got his/her ideas from tx in the first place

Im not sure how long maximus has been around but tx has been doing what they do since 2002 are the guy thinks nobody will copy tx in that time take for example the nook off ck3 im sure there has been a whole buffet of others ..
