Title: Xbox In Computer?
Post by: cubalibra on April 18, 2005, 01:36:00 PM
I upgraded my Xbox HD to a 120GB WD drive. I set my Xbox up with a removable HD so I can swap between my 120GB drive and the original Xbox HD for XBL.  Is it possible to put my 120GB drive in my computer to add files and stuff?

I put it in my computer, my computer "sees" it during POST but when Windows XP loads the drive is not there.

Should it be there?  If this should work I could use some help getting it to work.

no its not possible, the xbox uses a FATX filesystem while the pc uses eiterh FAT32 or NTFS, unless someone builds a driver for FATX on teh PC u will probly never be able to put ur xbox hard drive in the pc
