Hi guys.
I have a problem with my Xbox 360 (Jasper board) with the following issues:
After a firmware update, my xbox did not turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens. No leds flash around the power button on xbox and the adapter simply stands by with orange color. I double checked, when I press the power button no color change occurs on the adapter.
I have taken the unit to a local repair shop. I was informed that the power card (which holds the power on button and wireless controller) has been burned. And they have changed the card with a new one. After the card change I have played once with my xbox on that day. But the next day, when I press the power button, same issues arise. Nothing happens when I press the power button. I went to the repair shop again and a full test has been run on the unit, a few mosfets has been changed. And I took back my xbox again said to be working.
When I got back home from the repair shop, I tried the xbox for 15 seconds: powered up, saw the xbox as working and turned off again. The next day I tried to turn on xbox for a game, but I encountered the same problems. Nothing happens when I press the power on button.
Here are the issues in brief
- My xbox seems to burn the card that holds the power on button and wireless controller.
- After I change the card and try it at home, my xbox only turns on for once and then never turns on again.
- No change of colors on the xbox adapter.
My repair shop suggests that my adapter may be defective unit and should be replaced.
Have you ever heard these issues? Any ideas about what should I do?
If you need any more details please respond to this post. I will try to give more detail as much as I can.
Thank you for your time.
Regards.
