Title: Very Strange Dirty Disc Error

So, my friend's 360 was giving dirty disc errors. I first tried adjusting the pot. It helped a bit, but not too much. I ordered a new laser from china and installed it. I could notice it was not 100%, but at least it was reading every disc without errors.

The problem now is: when he's playing some games, sometimes in the same part of the game, sometime in random times (in games like gta) a dirty disc error comes up, but the games are already installed to the hard drive o.o

If the game is not installed, it has some long loading times and some minor pop-in, but it doesn't give any errors.

Anyone know what the hell is going on?

BTW, it's a xenon, sammy drive, Xtreme 5.3. And I know the HDD is fine because it used to be mine
