Title: N Adapter Compatibility With Routers?

I recently purchased a Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless N adapter from Tech Depot through http://www.dealrocker.com discount deal. It only connect to the G signal from my Lynksys N router. I tried turning only the N radio signal on, but the Xbox won't connect to it correctly. My PC with a Netgear adapter has the same problem, but my Acer laptop has no problem connecting to the wireless N router. Can't figure out if it is a router issue or N adapter is not compatible? Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
