Title: Xbox 360 + Hard Drive Shell + Mac + Hitatchi Hard Drive. Possible Home
Post by: el0u2312 on March 31, 2010, 03:56:00 PM
Ok, this is what I have:

Xbox 360 HDD Shell with all relevant connectors
120gb Hitatchi HD from my old macbook unibody
and a 13" Macbook Pro.

Is there anyway I can take my old hard drive, put it in the hard drive shell and format it to work with my 360? I want it to be compatible with xbox live marketplace downloads etc.

I don't want to do anything illegal, just repurpose an old hard drive to use for legitimate storage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My understanding so far is that there is a program to format Western Digital Hard Drives to use as a memory unit, but not other hard drives. It's also my understanding that Hddhackr is windows only. Can i format this hitatchi drive, on a mac, to work with my 360?

Thanks so much in advance!
