does anyone know or seen this type of dvd drive for sale anywere online? i tried ebay no luck

Are you trying to replace the drive? If you are, firmware is completely unnecessary and you can use something like this - http://cgi.ebay.com/LITE-ON-DG-16D2S-74850...=item19ba3365b2.

yeah i need the whole dvd drive.  83805C came with my 360 i want that one cause its easier to flash. for sum reason i can get the pin reader i bought to read or i wouldve been bought a diffrent version lite on dvd drive

You don't need to flash it if its just for repair, all you need to do is switch the PCB.

If I have the A0A2 HW Ver. but the old 74850C FW Ver. can I just swap out the boards on a A0A1, or will it not be compatible?
